Council Services & Information

Helston Town Council meets on the third Thursday of every month at 7.15pm. In addition to Full Council, there are five committees namely: Policy, Finance & Resources, Planning, Amenities, Play and Harvest Fair. Details of meeting dates can be found on the meetings page. Agendas for meetings are also posted on this site and on the two Council notice boards. All meetings of the Council and its committees are open to the public, unless otherwise indicated, and the public have the opportunity to speak.

All meetings take place in the Guildhall which is a Grade II Listed building built in 1839. The Guildhall also accommodates the Council staff. The Offices are open to the public from 9.00am to 4.00pm Monday to Friday (except bank holidays).
