A Direct Access service for adults with bladder or bowel continence problems. A Chartered Physiotherapist, Nurse Consultant/ Nurse Specialist will be available to speak on a confidential line, discuss the probles and give advice, or refer on to the appropriate discipline. An appointment may be offered to a same day clinic, if this is felt necesarry. The line is open on Friday afternoons 1-2pm (Excluding bank holidays). In exceptional circumstances due to staff training or ill health this service may be unavailable. |

Helston & District U3A

Helston & District U3A ( University of the Third Age) is like no other university; for one thing it is run by it's members and the emphasis is on fun and enjoyment. The U3A is the largest organisation of its kind in the world and it provides educational, recreational and social facilites for people living in the Helston & District area. Helston & District U3A has on offer thirty different activities and they include wining and dining, theatre trips, residential trips abraod, art and singing, handicrafts, book clubs, creative writing and languages. For the more active there are rambling and ambling, table tennis, carpet bowls and outdoor bowls too. There is a monthly social meeting held in the Methodist Chapel and Hall every third Wednesday of the month from 10am.
