Where: The Guildhall, Helston TR13 8ST

Country & Farmers Market, selling plants, local produce (vegetables and fruit), local baking and crafts. Every Friday from 7.45am to 2.00pm

Flora Day 2013

Flora Day 2013 will take place on Wednesday 8th May

Morning Dance : Starts from the Guildhall at 7am

The Hal-an-Tow : Starts on St John\'s Bridge at 8:30am

The Children\'s Dance : Starts from Wendron Street at 9:50am

The Midday Dance : Starts from the Guildhall at 12 noon

The Evening Dance : Starts from the Guildhall at 5pm

Mayor Choosing Ceremony

Where: Council Chamber, The Guildhall, Helston, TR13 8ST
When: 14/5/2013 (starts at 19:00)

Helston Town Council will hold it's Mayor Choosing Ceremony on Tuesday 14th May 2012. This year the ceremony will take place at 7pm in the evening, in the Council Chambers at The Guildhall. The Mayor elect for 2013/2014 is Cllr Jonathan Radford-Gaby and Deputy Mayor elect is Cllr Mike Thomas.

Beating the Boundaries

Where:
When: 15/5/2013 (starts at 13:30)

The section of the boundary to be beaten will be between Carminowe Creek to RNAS Culdrose.

A limited number of places will be available for members of the public wishing to join with the organisations and schools already invited.

The assembly point will be at the Fairground, Porthleven Road, B3304.

Anyone interested in participating should contact the Town Clerk on 01326 572063.

Carer\'s Forum

Where: The One Stop Shop, Isaack House, Tyack Road, Helston.
When: 22/5/2013 (starts at 13:30)

Open to all informal and unpaid carers the Carers Forums are being set up across Cornwall in each of the nine new Health and Social Care hubs to provide an avenue for information and guidance. They offer the opportunity for Carers to share and highlight concerns and feed them back through the Carers Partnership Board, into the Health and Social Care Hubs, Community Networks and the Health and Wellbeing Board when appropriate. The Forums are a way to raise the awareness of issues and concerns experienced by carers and highlight the importance of the role they perform.
